if they fixed and made 3dsmax good years ago, I would not complain, but knowing all they have done with softimage, 3dsmax, and maya (even if it's the only one getting buggy but more important features) well I guess I can complain about Autodesk forever haha. It sounds silly how Autodesk wants to follow this stuff like this, with only one program, one that not many use (because for $7 more you can get lightroom and photoshop, so it's not even relevant program). but it doesn't seem a really good one, and knowing Autodesk it will be no better, if they added other software. Weta or whatever, to want to use Autodesk. I wish most studios weren't so blind and stopped using Autodesk, those studios are not ILM. I wonder what's worse, The foundry or Autodesk, of course the foundry has modo, and I am not fan of them, while I always liked/used 3dsmax but since some years no important features added and sometimes it was released and puff, bugs bugs and more bugs and you had to wait for an update for it to work. Autodesk with their crappy software, yeah yeah they are the "popular" ones, Maya and 3dsmax, Autocad, I have used them all or someone I know, but they haven't done anything good to those programs, maya is only extended because they have acquired more and more companies and just putting the technology inside maya, it doesn't matter if it's buggy or not, as long as it adds a new feature.
